Robert Vigil is Deputy Commander for DMORT Region 9.  A resident of Yuma, Arizona, Robert joined DMORT in 1998.

During his tenure with DMORT, Robert has been involved with several federal training sessions and activated to the Alaska Airlines #261 crash, World Trade Center incident, and the American Airlines #587 crash.

Robert is the Yuma cluster area manager for S.C.I. Arizona Funeral Services. He has been with S.C.I. for 24 years and previously served in San Diego, Torrance, and Anaheim California. He also serves in assisting the Yuma County Medical Examiner and local law enforcement departments.

Raised in San Diego, he enjoys the Arizona climate which allows him to enjoy golfing and gardening. DMORT teamwork and communication is very 

important to Robert and he can always be contacted by phone or email.
